Although Bunn himself does not compartmentalise the Dix Semblaient Monts, in this analysis the normal procedure of doing so has been followed as per Stanford & Collins, CMUArt2009. Thus, for example, the Monts 'Exposure', 'Criticism' and 'Celebrity' are grouped together as are those of 'Chance' and 'Desire' and so forth.
Group 1 - The Accidents of Nature : Chance, Desire, Ideas.
Group 2 - Positive Actions and Processes : Purpose, Ego, Work.
Group 3 - The Objectionable Steps : Exposure, Criticism, Celebrity.
Group 4 - The Role of the Self : Appearance.
